ONGO Rides Driver ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting the privacy of our drivers. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information while using the ONGO Rides Driver app.

• Personal Information: When you sign up as a driver, we collect details such as your name and contact information.
• Location Data: We collect and process your live location during a journey to track your exact location for the security and information of the traveler. This helps in ensuring accurate trip monitoring and safety for both drivers and passengers.
• Ride Data: We store trip history, including start and end locations, fares, and ride duration.
• Device Information: To improve performance, we may collect information about your mobile device, including operating system and app usage details.
• Foreground Service Notification: Our app uses a foreground service to perform critical tasks like location tracking and SMS monitoring. A persistent notification will always be displayed to inform you that the app is running in the background.
• Location Tracking for Delivery and Ride-Sharing: We use foreground location services to provide real-time, continuous location updates—essential for services like ride-sharing which is the core feature of our app.
• Background Location Access: The app may access your location in the background to ensure live tracking of vehicle position functionality to provide the real time ride updates, even when you're not actively using it.
• Camera Access: We request camera permission to allow users to open the camera and update or upload profile images.
• Push Notifications: The app uses Firebase to send push notifications so you can receive important updates in real-time.
• Phone Call Permission: We request permission to make phone calls (By redirecting to the dialer of your mobile device)—for example, contacting customer support.
• User Login: New user registration is not supported in this application. Access is restricted to registered users who can log in using their existing credentials. User accounts are managed by the OnGo Rides administration through the backend.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To facilitate ride bookings and updates.
• To provide real-time location tracking for passenger safety and trip monitoring.
• To calculate fare details and provide earnings summaries.
• To improve app functionality and user experience.

4. Location Tracking

Your live location is captured only during active rides and stops being tracked once the trip is completed. This data is used for:

• Resolving disputes related to trip details.

We do not sell or share your data with third parties except as required by law or for legal investigations.
